Spotlight Sports Group has announced the launch of a new betting shop display screen which will integrate content from the Racing Post.
The new screen will become the only shop display that has trusted Racing Post content, making it an exclusive for Spotlight customers.
It was designed after the group conducted ‘extensive’ in-store usability testing and took in feedback from its customers. Now the latest version will feature better navigation, zoom functionality and enchanted content from greyhound, horse and virtual races.
The product also has Spotlight’s odds feeds integrated into the screen, which means the display can be used as an early price screen with live content.
A big race special section will also be included in the screen; it will focus on major events such as the Grand National and Cheltenham Gold Cup. The section will provide customers with in-depth tipping to inform bets.
Spotlight Sports Group retail director, Alan Pepperell, said: «We design these products to ensure they cater for all betting shops, regardless of size. This release is our most significant to date with the launch of our latest content and the functionality of the screen.
“On one screen a customer can now get trusted Racing Post form, data and tipping on all the day’s racing from Britain, Ireland and across the world with our international racing coverage. Added to this, punters can now get early prices and morning tipping for every race and in-depth racing coverage with our big-race specials.»
So far, Entain has placed the screens in an additional ten Ladbrokes and Coral shops, while Joe Jennings has used them in its first two shops.
